Visiting My Hometown
Not long ago, I returned to my hometown for a visit, and it turned out to be a wonderful experience. One of the highlights of the trip was sampling different kinds of food in Vietnam. Among all the meals I had are phở, bún chả, and chè Thái, together with many other local dishes. They were all as fresh as they were delicious, which gets me to think of a large variety and difference that characterizes Vietnamese food. My favorite dish of all was bún chả because of grilled pork, noodles, herbs, and fish sauce.
At night, I took a stroll around Hồ Gươm. The place looked gorgeous as the light was reflected off the water. People were busy doing some walking exercises, taking pictures, and enjoying the moments with their friends and family. The whole atmosphere was both lively and relaxing. I enjoyed breathing the fresh night air and watching everything become more alive.
To summarize, a trip to my hometown made me very happy. I enjoyed immersing myself into the Vietnamese culture, tasting a lot of good food, and walking around Hồ Gươm.
